How long will my resin driveway last?

Find out how long a resin bound or bonded driveway will last and what why do they last so long.
Decra®Stone resin bonded driveway

If prepared and installed properly, both a resin bound Decra®Set and resin bonded Decra®Stone surface should last for in excess of 15 years with no issues. And when applied to a new base surface, in excess of 20 years can be expected.

Suitable preparation is the key to a long lasting and trouble free installation. At HMS we can offer advice and guidance on groundworks and repairs, and put you in contact with our network of approved tarmac and landscape specialists to ensure that you’re starting on the best possible footing when it comes to the application of your resin finish.

Our products are just as much about functionality as they are about style, and ensuring the correct base and preparation is in situ will ensure your product performs as its designed to. Whether that is a close graded and perfectly shaped tarmac base for a resin bonded surface, or a fully porous SUDS compliant construction for our water permeable bound paving, the team at HMS we can help you achieve your surfacing goals.

Our resin driveway and surfacing systems are constructed using the best quality polyurethane and epoxy binders, and finished using premium super-washed and dried natural aggregates to produce a long lasting surface that not only looks fantastic but represents excellent value for money.

Both our resin systems are designed to withstand high-traffic, so are not only suitable for domestic application, but can easily withstand the stresses of a commercial site.  All of our installations are completed using UV stable binders as standard, and our minimum installation depths exceed industry recommendations to ensure our clients are always receiving excellent quality and value.
